During 19th – 23rd October, 23 urban planners and architects from cities in Georgia, Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey attended a regional workshop in Istanbul to learn more on how to use the SymbioCity Approach during planning, development and management of urban areas.
Since 2010 the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR) and SKL International have been engaged on assignment by Sida to support global sustainable urban development through the SymbioCity Approach - a concept for sustainable urban development with emphasis on improving living conditions for citizens in urban environments.
